Nicolas is a lawyer and experienced corporate executive. As the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at AIA, he provides strategic leadership in governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He has over 20 years of executive experience, including roles as Chief Legal Officer for a large privately held Swiss company and General Counsel International for NYSE-listed MedTech companies.

He also has experience in HR leadership and general management with P&L accountability. His extensive expertise in M&A, business integration, and cross-continental leadership enables him to align AIA’s legal and strategic goals.

Nicolas is admitted to the Bar in Switzerland and holds a J.D. from the University of Lausanne and an LL.M. in European Law from the Institute of European Studies in Brussels.
